Natalie Lavigne is a strategic planning and communications consultant specializing in the field of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. Also certified in change management, she combines her multidisciplinary skills to successfully guide organizations on their path toward environmental and social sustainability.
Following her 3rd training with Al Gore in San Francisco in 2012 with 1000 climate leaders from 58 countries, Natalie acted as Regional Mentor for a group of certified presenters for Climate Reality Canada in addition to giving dozens of free presentations on the reality of climate change.
In 2015, the Franco-Ontarian Foundation recognized Natalie’s contribution to sustainability and awarded her an environmental “Prix Saphir” at the first Soirée Saphir for francophone women in Ontario.
A graduate of the University of Ottawa and Humber College, Natalie also holds a graduate certificate in eco-advising from the Université du Québec in Chicoutimi and completed a change management program with Prosci. Natalie is also a trained group facilitator as well as a peer-coaching facilitator with the Coaching Ourselves program.
Following volunteer mandates with the Environmental Committee of the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and the Community Environmental Fund for Earth Day Canada, Natalie is now president of the McGregor Lake Association a member of the board of directors for EnviroCentre.
Natalie is fully bilingual and also speaks Spanish.

Elyse McCann has more than 15 years of experience working in the field of sustainability, with a recognized expertise in project design and implementation, strategic planning, public/employee engagement, as well as grant writing and business development.
She has worked in the non-profit sector for a large part of her career, but is passionate about helping all organizations and businesses reduce their environmental impacts through concrete action, effective communications, and change management.
Her journey in the environmental sector began with her passion for active and sustainable transportation, and she is a known leader in this field in the Ottawa region. She has designed and implemented long-standing public engagement and awareness campaigns. Elyse is a sought-after conference speaker who frequently presents to groups on transportation demand management, and effective public awareness campaigns, and has successfully acquired millions of dollars in funding to advance sustainability work in the region. She has worked with a variety of clients including school boards (and schools), municipalities and the private sector.
Elyse is a Certified Sustainability Practitioner with a degree in Social Science from the University of Ottawa. She has also completed a graduate-level certificate from Carleton University in Management and Governance in the non-profit and voluntary sectors as well as a certificate in Community-Based Social Marketing.
Elyse regularly volunteers with a number of community initiatives. She is a past board member of Entraide Budgétaire Ottawa and local residents’ associations, and has founded and launched several community-building events and projects in Gatineau’s Aylmer sector.
Elyse is fully bilingual in French and English.
